HR SEMINAR INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: WHAT SHOULD HR PROFESSIONALS DO TO ADAPT TO CHANGING IN THE 4.0 ERA?

The human factor plays a primary role in creating the overall success of the organization. In the context of globalization and automation, digital technology of the 4.0 era has created great changes in human resources as well as human resource management.

This change expresses evidently in the work and interact of individuals as well as the necessary competence framework. HR professionals must focus on developing skills to adapt to the new context, thereby developing these new work skills training programs for human resources in the organization.

Accompanying HR Professionals with internationalizing human resource management in Vietnam, PACE Institute of Management and SHRM Vietnam held a seminar on the International HR Seminar on January 10 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of many HR Professionals from various businesses and sectors.

The seminar took place with Mr. Dinh Viet Lan - Solution Specialist of PACE Institute of Management, he is one of the first Vietnamese who received the SHRM Certificate and was also trained by SHRM to become an official lecturer of the SHRM Certification Training Program in Vietnam.

Clearly, if HR professionals want to bring about the ability of general development impact for the entire workforce of the organization, they need to know how new ways of working as well as changing the way of interacting in the 4.0 era.

In the seminar, HR professionals also raised common challenges in today's businesses. One of the most problematic issues of human resource management is the loss of talent such as employees who quit their jobs after being trained or low-skilled workers because the CEO does not catch the general wage bracket of the market... In addition, communication between individuals and departments in the company is also a big challenge for HR management. There is a lack of communication skills and relationship management in general human resources that need to be supported by HR Professionals.
